Would you mount a cargo rack in front of the rig?

I got my hands on a new hitch cargo rack that i almost have no use for as i already have one installed in the rear. An idea had occured to me that maybe i should mount this on the front bumper to car...

We carried 3 bikes on the front using the 2 inch receiver type mount .
We did that for a month long trip .
The spokes of the bikes made our headlights ineffective .
We were towing our travel trailer .
Now I disassemble the bikes and carry them in the pickup box.
