WOW -Temps in Maine

92 degrees at noon today. I'm hoping for great weather the week of June 6th. Planning Bar Harbor, Belfast and an Island excursion for that week, just before the coast fills up...:)

Was in Maine last week windy and cool

Same here... oh yeah, and rainy!

    But still enjoyed the visit.

  • She's warming up. A few more days in the 70's, and then we are in for the 80's. Summah is slow to come, pine pollen not yet done either. Pretty soon we are gonna need to do a rain dance !!

Well, it wasn't very warm last week, but 2 of our days in Bar Harbor were very nice. We had good clear skies for our 2 days at the summit, and it was ideal for hiking both in the park and around Bah Hahbah..
We stayed at Narrows II, nothing spectacular, but great rate with Passport America and plenty of elbow room.

In Belfast we stay at The Moorings. I enjoy searching for sea glass at low tide and everything within 25 miles - wineries(Cellar Door) Ft Knox, Camden's Mt. Battie, Young's lobster pound, and downtown Belfast.

Whether it's 60or 80 degrees, you can't find many better places to be than Maine in the summah.

    Ayuh...

  • Some of that warm would be nice. We are experiencing a cooler than normal spring this year.

I am still scraping my windshield in the morning. Normally the river behind my house would be rushingly loud from the run-off, but it is very tame thus far.

It was almost 90 in Bar Harbor same day. VERY hot. We went to the top of Cadillac Mountain and had to turn around. It was too hot for the dogs. But then on Sunday it was 53 and cloudy. You know what they say about New England weather...
