I owned 3 Broncos
1st one was a 1968 SUV Size 1st Gen
2nd was a 1972 SUV Size 1st Gen
3rd was a 1985 Full Size 3rd Gen
1st Generation
1966-1977 Small SUV (competition with International Scout and Jeep CJ-5)
2nd Generation
1978 & 1979
Full size version......they used the F-100 Chassis
3rd Generation (Competition with Chevy Blazer & Dodge Ramcharger)
1980--1986
Full Size redesigned version...shorter chassis/live axle replaced by Dana 44 Twin Traction Beam
1983 the Bronco II was added to 3rd Generation line up and continued thru 1990 4th Gen (Competition with Chevy S-10 Blazer)
4th Generation
1987-1991
5th Generation
1992-1996
OJ had a 1993 Model
