Thanks everyone - I appreciate the feedback! I had few worries about the concept, but then I had a friend who drove his late-model minivan out there earlier this summer, only to come home and tell me that he had to turn off the AC and roll down the windows to control temps in that car up the grades. That really surprised me at the time and unnerved me a bit ('If he had to do that with a simply minivan with nothing in tow...'). I think it just got into my head. I appreciate hearing the more affirmative stories of the drive.
