Yikes! Rockey mountain special

These "look what I saw" threads without any actual weight numbers on the tow vehicle or the trailer leads to much speculation.

We stopped for pics at the entrance to the Smokey Mtns a few weeks ago and there was a new Chrysler Town and Country pulling a 30" BH RV. Husband, wife, dog, at least two teenagers inside. Everything looked level but it sure suprised me to see them going up the grade. I saw them later at a site in our campground (Elkmont) with the hood up. To be fair, they may have just been checking fluids.

Wow that's a 5000lb+ trailer but I will not judge. The OP did say he saw it "pull in".

You guys do know that there are several RV rental companies, with many of these companies that will deliver the RV, to your campsite? They will even have them loaded with water, pots/pans/dishes/bedding, if desired and have the RV set up, ready and waiting for the customer/campers?

No problems with that combo, minivan has lots of room for all the kids. Ontario plates, could have been set up by Canam. He had one setup at a show, Fiat Pop towing at 17ft TT. He said that combo was a little slow on the highway, but handled very well.

Well, Im pretty sure thats over the 3,600 pound towing capacity.
