I am going to believe that your post must be an exageration cause with signs, pavement markings and all the alternative is ....... As far as jockeying for position and such, that doesn't change just because you're doing or not doing a Michigan left.
Also a MI. Resident. These are a pain in the rear. Many in my area have multiple lanes. You better make sure you get in the correct lane or you end up going around in circles hoping you can get over to where you need to be. The hard part is if you screw up people are rushing into the mix to get ahead of the next guy. Just crazy. Side swipe is the major problem. People speed up and jockey for position at the entrances cutting each other off.
It's like throwing yourself into a centrifuge and hoping when you get thrown out you're going the way you intended.
Yeah it was a little, some people have a sense of humor ;)That's of course if you're assuming everyone pays attention to what their doing, and not in a hurry. I see idiots cutting people off from being in the wrong lane all the time, almost causing accidents. Or those who need to be first. Some lanes, two come together to make one. People race to see who can get to the head of the pack first. Not everyone obeys traffic signals, or signs, or markings. Face it, these were made for to protect us from those "who don't obey traffic signs, lights, or street markings". So do those people just avoid them?
