Really? You find it that hard to figure out which lane you need to be in to make your turn? I am going to believe that your post must be an exageration cause with signs, pavement markings and all the alternative is ....... As far as jockeying for position and such, that doesn't change just because you're doing or not doing a Michigan left.
Yeah it was a little, some people have a sense of humor ;)That's of course if you're assuming everyone pays attention to what their doing, and not in a hurry. I see idiots cutting people off from being in the wrong lane all the time, almost causing accidents. Or those who need to be first. Some lanes, two come together to make one. People race to see who can get to the head of the pack first. Not everyone obeys traffic signals, or signs, or markings. Face it, these were made for to protect us from those "who don't obey traffic signs, lights, or street markings". So do those people just avoid them?
