Where is all this right turning only? Must be for some strange particular reason but far from the norm. Never seen such a thing in my 72 years living in Michigan and we've been in every city repeatedly. To go left on a divided highway in Michigan where the cross street goes thru or ends at the highway, you turn to the right and bear left and then make a "U" turn about a block later (an age old Michigan turn) thru the median so you are going in the left direction you desired with the traffic flow and simply merge in.
