What ever you buy there will be trade offs. A TT you have the hitch to deal with unless it's small enough not to need a W/D. A lot depends on how you use it as well. I have a 5er and a TT and use the TT a lot more. It's smaller and will go a lot more places then the 5er. A class C or truck camper would go even more places and easy to park at restaurants shopping centers ect. I travel with 3 Collies so a C or truck camper is to small for me. Most people that I know that downsize went to a C or small TT.
