I agree - almost everything in life can be traced back to money.
If you want a real pain in the butt, try a HOA. They love controlling everything - what you can and can't park, how many you can park, what you can and cannot plant in yard and how many must be there, what color paint is allowed and heaven forbid you have even one little weed growing, even after a solid two weeks of rain. Anyone with an RV could face a firing squad.
