No no no. Do not do this. The inverter is not designed to run an Air Conditioner.
Am I missing something here? First if it is a modified sine wave many electronics will not play well with it. An Air Conditioner can pull more current than the inverter can supply. You would need tons of batteries and a much more hefty inverter.
I understand if you are just wanting to plug the shoreline cord into the inverter to run the microwave or coffee pot but you need to make sure the (converter breaker is off), as well as the hot water heater, and the refer should be on gas.
