No, they are not the same. that's why I wrote in another thread that you need a 3-stage charger with adjustable setpoints.
Lower-end chargers have only 3 choices: Gel-Flooded-AGM, - so you'll have to convince yourself that the answer is "Yes", and stop worrying because you can't do anything about it.

Note that setpoints change with temperature. "Normally", people set the voltage recommended for 25C=77F, and controller will adjust it automatically when ambient changes, if it has temperature compensation feature. It is recommended to buy one with such a feature.
With 200W solar prepare to pay ~$90-100 for controller that meets all these requirements.
Your P30 controller is adjustable and has temp sensor, but it has only ONE setpoint. Set it to 14.3 in the morning, change to 13.4 in the afternoon, that's all you can do.
