06 mobile suites 36TK3 water heater

Can you provide me with information on water heater operation on the propane side.I can operate on AC but am not sure about lighting from propane.there are three buttons on the control panel,WATER HEATER-PUMP-LIGHTS,can you tell me what they all do?When I took this rig in trade from my motorhome, this part of the instructions was missing. Any info would be extremely appreciated. THANKS
  • As long as you have propane on and the lines are purged and there is water, turn the switch marked W/H to the on position. If your outside you should hear the electronic igniter trying to light the the gas. Once lit it is automatic on demand just like at home.
  • Just switch the one marked water heater as that is the gas.it will light automatic.
  • Thanks folks,,,,how about the other two marked "pump" & "lights",all three switches are red lit when turned on? There is a switch outside in the "connection" compartment that I can turn the 12V pump on witch is why I confused as to the "red-lit" switch inside the RV for pump, and then the swich labeled "light" I haven't figured out.It would be great if I could get a lead on acquiring an owners book on this rig. THANKS
  • Are you sure you don't have 2 separate lights for WH? One is for Electric and 2nd is for Gas and has an additional light (DSI) on top of it when trying to light or out of propane.

The Pump light is for the Water Pump, the one marked Light should be for the Step light (which may be burnt out).
  • Check your steps leading up to the bedroom. There is a small light for night use on the side. That switch should control that light.
