100 a/h Lithium Battery for $21?

Saw this ad this morning, a 4-pack of 12v 100 a/h lithium batteries for $82.99. So 400 a/h when linked in parallel.

Our new-to-us 5er is a 2008 model, so I'm aready planning new electronics, converter, inverter, etc. I was going to go with 4 of these GC-2 6v batteries, but a set of 4 would give me 420 a/h and cost $672 plus tax. Am I right that the lithium don't need to be vented like the golf carts would?

let me know if you ever recive it. yes lithium weight less and don't need to be vented or wateres etc.. just think that web site is probably a scam like wish.
  • If you decide to give it a shot, use a credit card you trust, I'd use a one-time number, keep all records, take screen shots of order pages, and be prepared for the fact it could be a couple months to get your money/charge refunded.

And yes, it is not real. They keep the price low enough so many people won't bother to fight to get their money back. You won't get the batteries shown.

Different type of AC plugs for different continents.

its a battery, it doesn't plug in to a wall outlet
  • Yup, 4 100ah LifePo4’s in parallel would provide 400ah (under even high loads), assuming they’re discharged from 100% to 0% SOC (and well balanced). Some might recommend only discharging to 10-20% for max longevity, which nets 360-320ah.

However, a set of 4 GC2’s would only net approx. 210ah (not 420ah) discharging from 100% to 50% (recommended for lead cells) under relatively low load. Also, under very high loads GC2’s will very likely stumble and not provide the full 210ah.

LifePo4 don’t off-gas, so no worries about placing them inside the living area of a camper.

As for the price, well, as they say, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is :)
