Thanks for the post. All the negative posts are sour grapes from folks who spent a lot more on their 100w panels.

There have been MAJOR improvements in solar power technology.. Both improved performance and lower cost.. HOWEVER specific claims all I can do is quote Murphy's law for naive young engineers.

Discount all corporate advertising claims 50%
Discount all SALESMAN's claims by and additional 50% 75% total)

And I might add every advertising man is a salesman.

Yes, panel only, no controller. While $1/watt is a decent price for a panel, their claim of 22%-25% efficiency is dubious at best.

That's not controller, its connector.
