10000 btu air conditioner

I use nothing but 11 or 12 EER units and they work great and accumulate enough moisture outside to feed a small plot of cantaloupe. I purchased the precursor to LG (Lucky Goldstar) in 1997, new units at Fry's electronics. A friend and I purchased an entire pallet of 5K units for $39.95 each. New, not refurbished, not seconds...that's not likely to ever come around again. NONE and I mean ZERO units of the 24 have malfunctioned. my friend turns his on in June and off in November. Nineteen years...I have three mounted in Quicksilver and two in la casita.
