The module I showed in my pix is 7/8" in diameter, it IS pretty much the smallest I have been able to find that puts out more light than a night light.
As you can see, the pins do have a black plastic piece to hold the pin spacing. In your case, you would most likely have to remove that black plastic piece (but I would try fitting without removing the plastic first).
The reflector looks like it is wide enough but the distance from socket to edge of reflector will be the issue.
To get the module in the fixture I do have to bend the leads at a slight angle. This allows the leads to enter the socket while the module is not fitting into the reflector.
Keep in mind, the LED module will no longer use or need the reflector, so cutting or modifying the reflector IS an option..
