How can the battery post voltage ever be the same as the charger's voltage until the battery is full? For any amps to flow, the battery voltage has to be lower than the charger's. So all this sense wire moving the charger voltage down the wire to the battery makes no sense. :)
I can see how a sense wire can tell the charger what the battery voltage really is without voltage drop making it seem higher than it really is, but the charger's voltage still needs to be higher.
The battery voltage cannot be held at some constant charger voltage while it is being charged--the whole idea is to have the battery voltage keep rising till it is full.
I just don't get it.
