110v vs 220v AC plug
Hi guys, my gophert cps 1620 arrived today, which operates on either 110 or 220v, switchable... but it came with a 220v plug. doh! ??? I actually no nothing about 220v, even though I've wired house...

Not real sure how well the inlet circuit is protected? The specs are here :

The unit is PFC and rated at a max input current of about 5a (specs only given for 230v but I emailed them to confirm).
The 14ga cord I ordered is rated at 15a, same as 14/2 wire in a house. I always use a surge protector with my chargers; well actually, with any gennie/shore power, for that matter.

The ps is switched both for power on and function on, so ???
I am curious about what gauge cord will come with the turnigy 1080w 60 amper I'm buying. It's rated at 12a ac, but that'll be a conservative rating, and is also based on 18v output; well above what i'll be running it at for boost/abs.
