I have the 12cu ft side by side with ice maker. A few things to keep in mind. Its a larger fridge than standard so it takes longer to get cold, and will use more LP when dry camping. In addition if its located in a slide it can be somewhat susceptible to temp fluctuations if vents are in the sun. This is because it vents out the side of the slide vs roof in non-slide models. There may be 1 or 2 fans in the fridge cavity to assist in circulating air...and they are often cheap and loud. One final issue I encountered during routine cleaning is I sprayed too much water on the lower vent. This put the circuit board into an "over temp limit" that I had to reset. Be cautious spraying a lot of water in/around the lower vent. Otherwise I love all the space it provides for extended trips.
