1/2 lights on dash out and jacks alarms sounding

Hi, recently we moved from CA to FL. East of Texas I smelled a foul smell then notice my radio went off and associated lights on that part of the dash as well as the jack alarm was sounding off. We...

I'm with Grit Dog you likely have melted wires and need serious re-work. This is not something I'd wish to tackle on my own and I am trained to do it.
