Dometic makes 12V powered free-standing units that can either be a fridge or a freezer. They are NOT cheap!!! Friends have one - seem happy with it - but they use it as a fridge in their TC. I have seen folks with small 120V chest freezers in the back of their truck - plug into power when in a CG, run off inverter while travelling. They are pretty well insulated, so can go a while without running. ST
