The link to your RV manufacturer says you have a converter/charger. A converter makes 12 volt power when your RV is plugged in or you have the generator running. The fact that it is a converter/charger means it also charges your battery. That's a normal basic installation for an RV.

You seem to be wondering if the converter is working. If your battery has a voltage above 12.8 volts, then it's being charged by your converter, and the converter is doing its basic job as a charger. If the battery voltage is below that, and you've been plugged in for a day or two, then it's either turned off or broken, or your battery is bad.

What is your battery voltage?

We'd all like to help you with your other questions about fuses, ground faults and removal, but without knowing the model and your RV design, we'd only be guessing. If you take some pictures, I'm sure someone here will recognize your converter/charger and be able to help you.

What model does the manual say it is...

If you have a inverter/converter such as my Magnum Energy one it may have a couple of pass through 120v circuits. If those fuses you are trying to remove have a white plastic end and say 15 on the end they are not fuses they are circuit breakers and they push in to reset. There could also be another one that says 30 on it and it would be the input power circuit breaker. If one of the 15's popped it will kill one of the 120v circuits in your rig. If the 30 is popped the inverter/converter won't work at all. If all of your 120v circuits work they are not likely the problem.

If you cannot identify the unit call the manufacturer of the RV with its serial number and they should be able to tell you what it is.

Some RV's have a converter, which converts 120vac to 12vdc
Some ALSO have an inverter, which does the inverse (of course) making 120vac out of 12vdc.

Some have an Inverter/Charger (the charger is a converter) which does both depending on the presence of an alternate source of 120vac (Shore or generator) I have all 3,, though not all are hooked up (The Inverters (I have 3 or 4 of 'em) are buried somewhere not connected).

Now.. output to the battery, as measured AT THE DEVICE (Converter or inverter/charger) as others have said 13.5-14 volts to charge. To find the specific voltage read the manual, if you do not have the manual find the make and model, Example Progressive Dynamics 9280, and google it with the word"Manual" following..IE: Progressive Dynamics 9280 manual.

IF measured at the battery, and the battery is FULL 13.6 (Same at the converter)

If measured at the battery and the battery is HUNGRY, it will be lower, but may be HIGHER at the converter.. I know this sounds strange but the reason is the resistance of the connecting wires. Which in the case of my rig, are LONGER than the RV!!!! (Well from the 9180+wizard to the batteries,, From the prosine, about 2 feet of 0000 gauge wire)

Make and model is not critical. Converter or inverter/charger does about the same thing.
12.6 is a new charged battery. Plug in and it should go quickly to ~13.6 volts.

Let's wait for the make and model of the unit in question!
