X2, they usually put REALLY thin wire on those and the sockets themselves are not rated to handle much power. They expect it to be used like one's in your car, for charging phones and such. Marinco does make a 15 amp socket and you could wire up some properly sized wire to that and run heavier duty devices from it like old 12V tube screen TV's.
