When I search for A24 base bulbs I come up with blanks (no bulbs with that base).
That size is not a standard "Edison" style since Edison screw in bases are in Millimeters..
Common screw in household light bulbs are E26 with other variations of E12 (candle size), E17 (intermediate), E39 (Mogul).
And 12V bulbs were ALSO "exempt" from the "ban"..
You should be able to find bunches of 100W HALOGEN bulbs since Halogen bulbs were also exempted from the ban since they do meet the efficiency standards..
Perhaps your supplier like many other suppliers have decided to stop selling any incadescent bulbs including Halogen on their own, blaming a gov rule.. Getting difficult around my area to even find a store stocking much in even Halogens..
