General lighting, water pump, refrigerator controls, slide motor, and if equipped, an inverter, all use 12VDC ranging from a minimal current draw for the fridge controls to 20 amps or so for the slide motor. 120VAC is used for A/C, the fridge (when not on LP), microwave, usually the TV, general use outlets, and 12VDC converter/charger. Running the A/C on an inverter is definitely not recommended. The initial 40-50 amp starting load would require a large inverter to begin with, and even the 12-13 amp running load would pull 150 amps or so from a 12VDC battery bank, running it down in a fairly short time. Keep in mind also, on a smaller trailer like the 167vms, there's a limited amount of roof real estate for solar panels...
