Total watt/ hours of solar is dictated by roof space
And has NOTHING to do with voltage it will be the same watts of solar panels
Wether you have a 12v, 24v, or 48v system
You trade voltage for amps, you do not gain any watts
The higher the voltage the system the lower the amps for the same wattage, the only thing you get , is to use smaller wire from the solar to the batteries and from the batteries to the inverter, the you get to pay extra for anything you covert over to 48v dc use, or for the dc to dc converter to get 12v for lighting , water pump, and control circuits
Thinking that a 48v system gives you more power on the roof and more power in the batteries is wrong, 100# of lead gives xx watts
example ..12v at 120amphrs or 48v at 30 ampHrs
XX square ft of solar gives yy watts 12 / 24 / 48v watts/volts = amps
, amps will change, total watts will be the same
A 100w solar panel is approx 5+ amps at about 18 working volts
A comparable 200w 24 system is 5+ amps at about 36 working volts
You can parallel (2) *100 for 11 amps at 18v
Or series them (2) *100 for 5+ amps at 36v
It's all the same watts
