My "goal" is as stated. Redundancy when off grid. Expanding on that for other scenarios is interesting too IMO, but it is not new of course.
I have been thinking how this could go ever since smk reminded me on here you can run 24v panels with PWM, no buck converter, IF the batteries are also 24v.
