I doubt this would work or work very well with a MPPT controller.
My ASC controller said not to use any other input than a solar panel because the controller operated by shorting the panel to do its on-off thing. I gather PWM is just a higher frequency shorting?
Recabling would be by links with battery clamps on them for ease of swapping around.
