Per a conversation with a trojan rep regarding 6V vs. 12V his comment on golf carts:
you want speed and acceleration go with 12V
you want distance and long battery life go with 6V.
the 12V have lower internal resistance, hence less drop at high current so you can get better acceleration.
However, the 12V won't give the cycle life that T105/125's will. And the 6V can be discharged way further than the 12 and still give good cycle life.
Translated to the RV use, again by trojan rep. With heavy high current inverter use, 12V have the same advantages as in a golf cart. Hold up well under high current draw. Downside is reduced cycle life compared to 6V and they really don't hold up well discharged below 50%.
Want to go to 20-30% SOC (70-80%DOD) and still have hundreds of cycles, then go with 6V.
