Bring the hydrometer and check date codes. I'd probably get the newest date AND the best hydrometer reading or if a slightly older one has a better SG reading than the newer one, I'd go with that.

EDIT: Just noticed you're looking for one. Replacing the Exides?? If you're getting these, I'm really going to be interested in how easy or hard it is to maintain them.
Highly interested in how this 'look/see' turns out. Perhaps you can give all us folks the way to save a buck and come out with real value. Lot's of Golf cars/carts everywhere. Please give us, if possible, the complete low down on the purchase, re-purpose 'how to do it' thing. WOW this might be great. ??
