15000 AC in bedroom

I bet you won't be able to tell the difference, until those days when it is 105+ out side then you will be happy you got the bigger unit.
Personally I wish they made an 18,000 or even a 20,000 unit. The size of RVs has grown with the addition of slides yet the availability of larger ac units have stayed the same.

The 15K may be a bit noiser but that is exactly what I did when my 13.5 went out.

Side benefit: More cool,, SAME POWER DRAW.

The weight and noise will be about the same. Since you have ducted, go with the 15k. Better to have MORE cooling capacity than marginal capacity. Cost is not much higher on the 13.5k to 15k. Depending on the brand and model, the 15k will pull no more than 2 amps more than the 13.5k. Doug

Well, you in Texas so your not immune to Hot temp's, I would opt to have too much cooling rather than not enough. As to issues changing to a 15k unit, should be no problem. You already have a 20 amp circuit there and everything else is the same. Since you said its a vented unit, you can always redirect vents. IMO

is your A/C ducted? ... are the A/C ducts tied?

I'd probably stay with the 13.5 especially since i don't freeze in my room should i close a few ducts on a hot day. lol

This is just me but I don't think I would like such a large capacity AIR CONDITIONER just inches above my head in my 5th WHEEL bedroom... That also is alot of noise to be made as well...

If I was to add an air conditioner to my 5th wheel bedroom I would want to get one of those floor models...

To me it seems that a much lower capacity air conditioner would be sufficient for adding cool air to just one room.

Its what one gets used to I reckon...
