If the factory who built your trailer doesn't know, it's not likely the dealer will know either, unless you are fortunate enough to talk to someone who cares. You could try removing the inner trim ring to the bedroom ceiling vent and look for possible ductwork available.

I think the factory knows, they just don't want to take 5 minutes to ask the person who should know. You can't get past the gate keeper to get to the person who knows. Seemed like a simple question to me. You know the dealer is going to tell me to bring it in. Not going to happen.

I managed to get a roof assembly drawing from Jayco for my rig and it shows the ceiling duct going from the front to the back. Not to say all rigs are the same, just a point of reference.

Mine is wired with power only, and no thermostat wires, but has the option to tie into the ducts. I guess to better answer your question, you should remove the trim-work that is in the vent location now. Should jut be four screws. Take that down, and you will see if you have power, stat wires, and if the ducts are there to tie into.

Will do the trim removal thing. If your 2012 can tie into the duct system, I have to believe my 2013 is set up the same way. Like you I'm waiting for a break in the weather.
For your thermo installation & all else fails & you have a little electrical knowledge you may be able to go down to the breaker wiring & install a relay to control 120 volt line wires going to the AC.

I agree, I think because I didn't buy new they just pass it off. They should know the layout. Gave some excuse about not having a tech around to answer my question. How hard can this be.

The bedroom AC just installed in my new Grand Design 303RLS is exactly that - it is a non ducted AC that just dumps cold air into the front bedroom - it does not hook into the ducts, although there are two ducts from the rear.

Be sure to have a thermostat installed for it, otherwise it will blow continuously. Unless that's what you want.

I find that hard to believe that CC "didn't know". They are the ones that made it. I agree as well on power supply coming into the coach. 30 AMP for 1 A/C, 50 AMP for 2---that is running at same time.

Most likely if you want to run both A/C's simultaneously. It is all about current demand and most dual A/C's would exceed 30 amps-- especially if you use other appliance with the A/C like battery charger, microwave, electric water heater and etc. The start up current and running current should be calculated. Start up for two A/C's simultaneously would definitely trip a 30 breaker.
