Thanks. In other words, there are "Conditions" beyond the color of the generator to consider? Been six pages and we have spent more time on theoretical valve actuation than what the OP wants and needs. Does he only plan to use it to cool down at Walmart? Budget? If noise is not a factor, I would put some wheels under his 5,000 watt noisemaker and roll it back on the tailgate. If "quiet" is the only thing that matters, then I would recommend the Uppper Peninsula, since no generator is silent.
