1987 Winnebago Elandan generator

Hello everyone, I am new to RV's. I bought a 1987 Winnebago Elandan and could not get the fuel pump to send gas to the motor, turned out there was no electrical reaching the pump. By passed the line and put a on-off switch to pump to get it to work for now. My issue is i'm still not getting electrical to generator pump, Is there any button I need to turn on so pump can turn on? I would like to find a manual if possible.
Any help will be appreciated.

Ps: I am totally taking all the old carpet and old sleeper and cushion and putting new ones, will upload pics when done. Slapping on laminate flooring
  • Welcome to RVnet.

Genset's usually use an Interlock system that controls if and when voltage is supplied to the Fuel Pump of unit. aka Fuel Cutoff switch.

Low Oil Level would be one case for exmaple.
  • If your genset is an Onan then the troubleshooting guide found HERE will help. It gives an overview of the sequence of operation to start the unit
