Enblethen- Koodoes, your sugestion on the oil pressure gauge being the problem. It seems that the engine was getting some fuel when ignition was turned on but not enough for combustion. Then as it cranked the ECU did not get a reading of oil pressure and would shut off fuel. It also had a problem with the timing not set correctly and when it did get fuel it would backfire and flame back through the throttle body. (Firing when intake valve was open.) Book shows for this engine timing marks should be aligned next to each other, but for some reason I had to adjust the Distributer 180 degrees out to get correct timing of engine? I think book may be wrong! Still puting things back together but I want to thank everyone for thier input... :) :) :) very happy!!!! Will post more at a later time again TY ALL
