1995 Onan Marque 7000 7NHMFA26106D no gas

I have a 7000 k Onan and am getting no gas. Motorhome is full. It has a pump in rear of unit. Electricity is getting there when I push the starter. I have line unhooked from carb. Dry as a bone. The pump is big and expensive and do not want to buy it yet. It looks like a canister with 2 separate terminals at its bottom. I feel no vibration from pump. My only delay in ordering one is the theory there is a filter before pump clogged keeping it from running. My unit is not a slide out.
Does it have to be dropped to do this which is a pain?
What's the best price on a pump?
What's you guys best opinions?

    Look at the manual on the pump it may have a filter . I'll look at the parts and op manual and see. I just tapped mine and it started working hit it on the side not to hard.

    Thanks for all this help. How hard can I hit the pump. Also is it a filter to. Looks like one. Also I've read where you could just by pass this pump with a cheaper replacement @6.5 gal per min 2-5 pounds pressure. .

    When I bought mine it had been setting some yrs too. It took me awhile to get it running I'm going to post the service manual if you can't Bgm and nhm service manual open it private message me with your email and I'll send it to you.

    I typed lightly on it not to seriously. I'll tap a little harder. It is getting voltage at pump. It light a test light. This unit sat in on place for 20 years. So I am fighting many issues. It has a 460 motor that does much better than the old 454 I had on gas mileage. So I want to keep it with only 20k on it.

    I've got the same gen I've had to tap it with a wrench a couple Of times while cranking to get it going. Also with mm make sure your getting 12v to it while cranking.
