One question you asked was WHERE does the 12 volt come from for the AC tstat system. Most RV makers use the LP FURNACE 12 volt power to power the wall tstat. The Furnace has just 2 wires that go to the wall Tstat. A 12 volt positive FEED and the other is the 12 volt positive return to the furnace to start a Furnace Heat cycle. The OEM's use that 12 volt FEED to power the AC system controls. That means they do NOT have to run a separate 12 volt power wire. Doug
