That's what I figured.
The question is, where is it physically located? The wire that goes into the roof edge from the AC unit itself is a slightly difference gauge and insulation type from what ends up at the thermostat.
So there must be some sort of junction box somewhere where the two yellow wires join up and pick up the 12v.
That's what I'm looking for.
The wire can be either at the upper control box or more common at the wall tstat. Doug
