On this type system, if you do NOT have a good 12 volt feed, lower voltage can operate the tstat until the system needs a good continuous 12 volt plus supply. He needs to verify that at the yellow wire at the RVP control board at the AC unit, he has 12.5 plus volts. If the voltage is lower than the COACH 12 volt voltage, then he has a miswired connection someplace. What I do, is run a dedicated 12.8 plus wire from the RV fuse panel to the 12 volt wire on the tstat and a good ground to that tstat and then test the system. This bypasses the furnace system and allows me to determine that the system functions or not with a good 12 volt supply. If it does NOT, then you look at the AC upper board and/or the tstat wiring going from the tstat to the upper board. Doug
