Wire size (too thin) and length of run are the issues. Short would be two feet or less.
Are the batteries wired in a balanced manner? How thick are the interconnecting cables?
I can run my microwave which draws 1591 watts from 375 amp-hours of flooded batteries. Your AGM's should be able to operate the microwave.
Check the demand using a Kill-o-Watt meter if you have one.

Thanks for that info, as I stated above I am thinking my 2000 watt invertor and 2 12 volt batts might be my issue, everything is fine and dandy till I start the mirco wave, I just added up what my true watts are on micro and the background watts always running and it adds up to 1950 watts.
As to the wire length its short, under 5 foot.
