1/0 cables are perfectly fine for that inverter so I don't think that is the problem. Step one would be to find out exactly how much power that microwave requires to run, then we can see if you have enough DC. Also, I believe the ProSines of that time were limited to 1500 watts per outlet, even though it is a 2000 watt inverter. It's been a while since I have seen one though, so I could be mistaken.
