A 1,000 watt inverter won't power a 1,000 watt microwave. I have an 800 watt Dometic microwave in my Aliner and a 1,200w/1,500 watt surge genny that won't run the microwave, though the generator runs my small air conditioner just fine.
You probably need a 1,500 watt inverter that will surge to 3,000 watts to run your 1,0000 watt microwave.
