I have used a REVERSE THREAD EZ-OUT to gently spin out the tube. Barely engage broken off tubing using tightly squeezed-onto EZ-OUT Vise Grips, twist back & forth and pull.
Try to support the new tube midway up using cable ties. The fracture seems to occur after 10,000,000 yadda yadda vibration cycles.
