It's not really at all important for this discussion, but it's technically a class C: it's built on a cutaway chassis, not in a cargo van chassis, and the body of the house part is built by Airstream, not Mercedes. Airstream calls it a "B+", which is marketing speak for a smallish class C with no cabover bunk.
I guess they (and other makers) call it a B+ because that sounds more prestigious than a C-!
Sorry, I work for one of the largest CLASS B dealers and it IS a B. We SELL them. It IS important, Class makes a big deal. AS you stated, they call it a B+ NOT a C-. Doug
