I would note the OP's handle "MCIbus". I'm pretty sure he needs 24v.
OP: Go to "BestConverter.com". There you will find 24v versions of the excellent Iota DLS series. I have a 12v x 45A as an emergency power conditioner. These units will accept virtually any lousy input voltage and charge your batteries--or act as a power supply.
