Saw this in the All Electronics sale flyer today: 12v On Demand Pump Good to have as a spare or use to transfer water from portable jugs when dry camping.

Evidently they do draw current when not running. Had my TT in shop for warranty work on a door. I forgot to turn the pump switch off after winterizing it the same day I took it in to the shop. I did disconnect the battery through a disconnect switch. Anyway I went back a week later and my battery was dead (Battery 1 month old...New camper). They had turned the battery on to lower the jack for moving it and did not turn it off. End result: Dead battery. The shop manager apologized for them leaving the battery switch on and told me that the water pump has a pretty good parasitic draw.
