RJ does bring to light the differences in our needs.
Some RV owners feel the need to go through a elaborate routine when setting up. ie get RV perfectly aligned in the site, set blocks under jacks, lower jacks, go out and see if jacks a perfectly centered on blocks, raise jacks reposition blocks, lower jacks, recheck jack position on blocks. Then remember that the tow bar is in a bind when the jacks are down. Raise jacks, unhook toad and lower jacks again. Then it's time to spend some time getting all those wires and hoses hooked to the services, unless you're dry camping. Now it's time to dig out those tire covers so our 22.5 tires won't dry rot. No set up would be complete unless the bugs are removed from the front cap and windshield. Got to get those awnings up so the AC don't have to work so hard. As soon as the toad is rinsed off and we get out of our driving clothes and into our tourist clothes and we can do what we came here to do.
An then there are those of us who pull in, unhook toad and go play. Maybe we'll set the jacks, with out blocks, when we return.
Different strokes for different folks.
