You gotta watch them ignorant yuppie city slickers, some of them just might teach you something.:)
I had an relative that was raised on a farm in North Dakota.
Even after he became a "city slicker" he always wore his coveralls -
even puttering around in his home workshop.
Probably got in the habit when he built his own bi-plane "way back when" in the barn - before he was hired by Donald Douglas in (gasp!) Chicago.
Obviously "ignorant" as he finished that career as an R&D Engineer with Douglas (In Long Beach, CA) up through the DC-9 - without an engineering degree.

*This* (old) city slicker has found that wearing gloves sure helps eliminate the purple bruises (that take about a week to go away) from bumping the back of your hands and knuckles on everyday "simple stuff"..;)
BTW - some storage facilities and campgrounds -with asphalt pads- *require* wood blocks under jacks to prevent same from sinking into the asphalt.
Ignorance vs courtesy?
Some RV owners aren't smart enough -or courteous enough-
to do same without it being a "requirement".:S

Thank you!
