After two transfer switch failures (replacement right out of box from factory) I had enough of them.
Installed a 125A sub-panel with two 50A double pole CBs that are mechanically interlocked so only one can be closed at a time.
Gen power source feeds one, OEM power source feeds other.
Depending on which source I want .....just flip the breaker.
