  • (disregard, i re read and think the OP wanted a plug outside at a table)

Your camper does not have a 120 plug outside it?

I assume.... the OP is at a camp ground that only offers a 120v standard plug, and wants to plug the camper into it. (like we do at our houses to prep the camper)

At state parks here... they have limited electric sites, usually for disabled people, that have 120v plugs, and NO round camper plugs.

The plugs at those sites are so the disabled can run basic medical devices. The ones I see up here are breakered at 15a.
  • You have 50 amp service ?
You should not need more power for the griddle and coffee pot

Do you mean the griddle and coffee pot are outside on the picnic table ?

Doesn't your RV have an outside outlet for things like ?

    Please clarify the problem
  • Not trying to steal a damn thing when my 50 amp is pluged in it blocks the 120v duplex, so i was going to plug in my 30 amp plug and use a adapter so i can have my coffee pot and gridle in the morning
  • Actually if you need one fast, I have noticed WalMart carries them at most of their stores now.

Suprisingly they also have the 30a to 50a adapter and insulation kits for the sky lights.

I have also noticed the WalMarts that freely allow Campers to camp out usually have very large sections of camper equipment!

Lowes/Home Depot/ West Marine would also be likely to have them.
  • Roy, we have lots of the 30A only posts around here in the older CG's that have not been updated. Maybe common in other area's too. :(

Why can't you just plug your extension cord into the outside 120VAC receptacle on your trailer and plug your trailer into the 30A PEDESTAL Service.

I can't remember a campground that only had a 30A Pedestal service without a 20A service as well.

If you are trying to sneak some 20A service don't forget it is way to easy for management to just follow the cord to your setup hehe...
